5.000 m² for a logistics platform in less than 3,5 monthsElring Klinger AG, worldwide development partner and original equipment supplier of cylinder-head and special-purpose gaskets, supplies most of the world's major motor manufacturers. To maintain its leadership position in state-of-the-art technology and to improve the quality of its services, this German group decided to construct a new facility at Rotenburg am Necker, Germany, for the assembly, packaging and storage of spare parts. The project was financed by investor Gesellschaft für Wohnungs- und Gewerbebau AG and rented back to Elring Klinger. It took only 3,5 months for Astron Builder Kientsch Industriebau to complete the 5.000 m² building, including a mezzanine, on a turnkey basis. The POLAR wall panels are in white aluminium and the double skin roof is protected by ALUZINC. Builder Kientsch Industriebau incorporated an interesting recessed corner entrance in the building. This provides protection from the environment while, at the same time, turning the now exposed corner column into a neat architectural feature. |
